Who am I? That’s a good question, especially if you don’t know me. Let me introduce myself to you.
I was born on 14th September 1981 in a hospital near Orpington in Kent. I spent the first 6 years of my life living in Sevenoaks, Kent in a nice quiet residential area with my mum and dad in a 2 bedroomed house next to a gas works. I liked it there. Smelling gas always reminds me of my childhood.
In 1987, me and my family moved to Orpington where my dad worked (and where mum and dad grew up) and I stayed there, completing primary school, secondary school and college there before moving up north to Huddersfield to do a degree in Interactive Multimedia. I didn’t pass it but I learnt a lot and am now in a job designing websites and whatever else for a promotional merchandise company in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
I still live in Huddersfield and have no immediate urge to move back down south. The people are friendlier on the whole and it’s not too “grim up north” really. It’s a lot cheaper to live and me and Emma, my fiancĂ©e, have a flat together just on the outskirts of the town centre.
Life is good. Read about it.
Keep well,
Scott
