It SHOULDN’T be let go, although with this FA anything is possible. The amount of public pressure means they will probably do something, but whether it will be a substantial ban remains to be seen.

Ben Thatcher should be strung up by his balls and left there until either they drop off or he dies from malnutrition. Pedro Mendes is a player who has given the premiership his all, a truly inspiring player. Ben thatcher is a decent footballer but a thugish waste of space. There’s no way the F.A should let him get away with violent conduct on such a grevious scale. If Rooney serves a 3 match ban for a questionable elbow then Thatcher should serve at least double for obvious intent.

It’s the inconistency that gets me. You’re right, Jonny, about Rooney’s elbow. It’s ludicrous that he’s in the middle of a 3 match ban when the FA still haven’t done anything about Thatcher.
